The new buildings range between four and six storeys, responding to the changing topography of the street as it slopes down to the west. The development creates a ground floor podium and communal roof
terrace area at first floor, separating the two taller elements which are located at the front facing Iverson Road and railway to the rear. The design is contemporary in style and features green walls which soften the
building. In giving consent, the planning authority commented “this development brings much needed housing to the Borough including some family housing and four affordable dwellings”.
