Planning consent granted for mixed use development at Euston Square

Following a complex planning process with local authorities, residents and user groups, Dexter Moren Associates have been granted planning permission for a £9m mixed use development adjoining Euston Rail Station.

Located on the corner of Eversholt Street and Grafton Place, the project will comprise 151 hotel rooms, 16 affordable apartments and ground floor retail. The façade will be wrapped in a bronze vertical panel system with the lower level elevation on Grafton Place featuring a recessed LED lighting panel.

Dexter Moren, director of Dexter Moren Associates, said: We are delighted with the result. We were faced with a very tight building envelope and have worked closely with local residents and planners to ensure a scheme which achieves integration and minimal impact, yet delivers an exciting and lively design which will assist in revitalising the precinct.

Construction is due to commence in July 2006.
