DMA and LHG (London Hotel Group) are celebrating another planning application win for an enhanced scheme for a £40m, 226-bedroom aparthotel in Wembley, London.
The new hotel on Elm Road is 98 bedrooms bigger than the original scheme granted planning consent last year. This has been achieved without increasing the previously consented building height, appearance or basement depth but more than doubles the capacity of the current building. The new aparthotel is expected to open in 2021.
The site is currently occupied by a hotel with 61 rooms which is in need of modernisation. Our proposals will transform the site, creating an aparthotel of 3-4 star quality. This development will meet an identified need for more hotel accommodation in the borough and contribute to the wider regeneration of Wembley Central.
DMA have also been working with LHG on several other hospitality and residential projects including the completed Best Western Plus Wembley and an exciting new hospitality hub at London Road Croydon which secured unanimous planning consent.
