We are pleased to announce the following well-deserved team promotions;
Matthew Sturley has been promoted to Director. Matthew has been with the company since 2006 and is responsible for the practice’s finance, IT & office management. He is a vital interface between the office and our clients and contractors.
Lindsey Bean-Pearce has been promoted to Associate Director. Lindsey works extensively with a wide range of hospitality brands and international hotel and resort operators with particular expertise in running large complex schemes from conception to completion. Current and recent projects include Melia Hotels Llana Beach Hotel & Spa, Hotel Indigo Aldgate and Vintry & Mercer hotel, soon to open in the City of London.
Neil Andrew has been promoted to Associate Director. Neil has over ten years’ experience running projects in the UK, Europe and Middle East. He is currently leading interior design on the new Westin City of London.
Zoë Tallon has been promoted to Associate. Zoë has worked on a number of large and complex hotel developments since joining DMA in 2008. She recently led the design for the much talked about Curtain Hotel & Members Club in Shoreditch and is currently leading delivery of a high end residential project at Lincoln Square, London.
Eoin Carroll has been promoted to Associate. As an experienced project leader, Eoin has worked on a wide range of impressive projects including the refurbishment of Pendley Manor, Tring and the Grade II* listed London Marriott Hotel County Hall.
David Harte has been promoted to Senior Designer. David has put his broad range of experience within the hospitality sector to use on projects such as Holiday Inn Manchester, Hotel du Vin Stratford-upon-Avon and as project lead on Hyatt Place Heathrow.
Jesus Burgos has been promoted to Senior Architect. With experience in planning and construction stages of residential, mixed use and hotel projects, he has participated on numerous projects and design competitions in the UK and abroad, including King’s Cross Methodist Church, Mandeville Hotel, Bicester Heritage and the completion of Peel Place.
Rebeca Aguilera has been promoted to Senior Architect. Rebeca has a wealth of experience in hospitality planning and is currently working on several of our UK projects including Orchard Road Aparthotel, Cambridge.
Javier Ortega has been promoted to Senior Architect. With experience in residential and hotel planning projects, Javier has been part of the design team on multiple projects and design competitions both in the UK and internationally, including a new hospitality hub at London Road Croydon which recently received unanimous planning approval.
Florence Stone has been promoted to Interior Designer. Florence has experience working with high end private residential, both refurbishment and new build projects. Since she joined DMA, she has developed designs for various hospitality projects including Hilton Praia Cape Verde.
As part of our continued succession plan, our collective aim is to empower future leadership to expand our hospitality led approach in both architecture and interior design to new and emerging markets. These include but are not limited to; resorts, co-working, co-living, PRS, serviced apartments, leisure and retirement living – throughout the UK, Europe and Africa.
