Wembley Town Centre

A new destination for living, leisure, business and shopping.

Over the past decade Dexter Moren Associates has worked with St. Modwen and Rotch group on this 60,000m² mixed use development to regenerate and re-establish Wembley Town Centre as a vibrant shopping and living quarter. In 2009 DMA completed Stage 2 of the master plan. Fronting the High Road, the completed scheme will provide 14,000m2 of retail, 5,000m2 of offices, 235 residential units, a refurbished multi-storey car park and a new public square adjacent to Wembley Central Tube Station. The development is planned over a four phase master plan which has required managing a complex interface with a large number of stakeholders such as National Rail, Genesis Housing Group and the London Borough of Brent.

In November 2009 we completed 85 new affordable units for Genesis Housing Group along with 93 private flats located within the main tower fronting the high street. A new staircase has been completed providing an important access link from Station Grove to the retail plaza, whilst Ramsey House has been given a facelift and refurbished into offices.

Retail elements on the south & east are now complete and work will commence shortly on the westerly aspects. Major high street retailers have signed up to trade in the retail precinct including TK Maxx, Somerfield, Iceland, Peacock, Bonne Marche, Betterspecs and Holland & Barrett. The final phase, B02, will see the station entrance rebuilt with additional residential units and possibly a hotel, planned over the station.
