The Carlton Intercontinental Hotel Cannes

Originally built in 1911 to welcome the British and Russian aristocracy, The Intercontinental Carlton has gone on to become one of the most famous luxury hotels along the French Riviera, accommodating renown events such as The Cannes Film Festival and MIPIM, the world's largest property conference.

Acting as master plan architects, the new scheme will maximize the use of vacant space to the rear of the site to create permanent leisure and conference facilities. Central to this will be the creation of a palm court, around which new function rooms, business centre, lounge and bar will be located. Two new bedroom wings to include up to 410 rooms will flank the central spaces to the site boundaries. A new pool will be located to the rear and an adjoining luxury spa will be developed.
