Sharp Street Manchester
This contemporary new hotel designed by hotel specialist architects Dexter Moren Associates for West Properties is located at the prominent junction of Rochdale Road and Sharp Street.
Providing a total of 187 bedrooms with full services, the hotel is conceived as two interlocking blocks with distinct facade treatments unified by a feature entrance canopy. The canopy will include a series of circular roof lights that produce a dramatic play of shadow and light to create a unique arrival. Coloured fins on the window frames double to articulate the facade whilst also providing sun shading. The project is currently in planning.
