Euston Square Travelodge
This unique building which combines a lower level hotel with upper level affordable housing, establishes a new landmark for this prominent site adjacent to Euston Rail station. Faced with the constraints of a very narrow site, Dexter Moren Associates has worked closely with local residents and planners to ensure a scheme which achieves integration and minimal impact, yet delivers an exciting and lively design to assist in revitalising the precinct. The facade is wrapped in a bronze vertical panel system with the lower level elevation on Grafton Place featuring recessed LED lighting.
Euston Square was awarded Sustainable Hotel Design of the Year at the 2008 European Hotel Design Awards.
