Located on Bath Road, Heathrow, this new hotel has been designed to optimise passive energy use. Developed in response to its location adjoining the Green Belt, this 260 bedroom 4 star hotel will feature extensive conference facilities opening onto riverside landscaped gardens. The sustainable concept of the design utilises a double skin facade and internal atrium to generate natural stack effect ventilation augmentation to the hotel air-conditioning while providing optimum airport acoustic performance. Facades are individually responsive to north, south, east & west orientation with louvres within the double skin facade acting as brise-soleil.
