Positioned on the site of the existing Barclay Arms hotel, DMA’s design restores the original building facade, replacing the existing rear bedroom wing with a contemporary new building, bridged via a glazed colonnade to form an entrance to the hotel. The interiors, also by DMA, contrast dark wood veneers with fuchsia pink feature walls and white terrazzo tiles, with bright textured fabrics to create a vibrant contemporary space.
